The new design employs a two-layer bio-polymer film: the outer layer protects graphics in transit, while the inner layer accelerates degradation once exposed to composting environments. A twin peel-and-seal strip lets customers reseal the same bag for returns, cutting virgin material use by up to 50 % compared with single-use mailers.

Printing is executed on Soma’s 12-color Heidelberg line, using water-based eco-inks that maintain color saturation after abrasion tests yet release no toxic solvents. The company’s OEM & ODM service enables American sellers to specify exact MIL thicknesses, anti-theft perforations, or padded liners for fragile goods.

Production runs under an ISO9001-certified, Six Sigma-driven quality system, with every stage logged into a cloud database for customer access. “Our engineers inspect each batch against 34 checkpoints, from seal integrity to ink adhesion,” noted Quality Director Zhang Min.

In field trials with a Texas athleisure brand, the dual-seal bag lowered packaging spend by 12 % and reduced warehouse waste by 4.3 tons annually.
